My goal of working with you is to assist you in navigating difficulties, issues, and problems within your life that you would like to address in a supportive and empathic manner. I treat clients in person for an array of quality of life issues. Further, I am here to create a safe space to work on past trauma and other issues that are impacting your life. I believe that you know yourself better than anyone and I am here to listen and to join you on this journey.
I have my own private practice in New Jersey and I primarily service clients in the New York/ New Jersey metro area. I practice therapy by pulling from treatment methods including: psychodynamic, person-centered, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
I have worked with a wide array of issues during the past ten years. I specialize in different types of trauma including but not limited to: severe accidents, sexual abuse, physical abuse, gun violence, and natural disasters. However, I also work with many other quality of life issues including: anxiety, daily stress, depression, relationship issues, sexual orientation topics, gender identity topics, athletic performance enhancement, immigration and acculturation topics, work-related issues, stress related to pursuing higher education, grief and loss, social anxiety, family related issues, in addition to career counseling.
I have worked with individuals across the developmental lifespan beginning with early childhood and concluding with the geriatric population. However, I mostly work with adolescents, young adults, and adults. Lastly, I make it a priority to meet clients where they are and support clients of all different backgrounds including: race, ethnicity, immigration status, religious and spiritual background, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, education status, employment status, and family background
